Judith Roderick

Judith Roderick touched upon the Batik process while a Painting and Design major at Carnegie Tech, and has been working with fiber ever since, first, creating batiked banners, clothing, and quilts.  She started silk painting in 1982, had a long Wearable Arts career with her silk-painted clothing, owned Village Wools for 10 years and taught at Ghost Ranch for decades. Her focus is on the Natural World - flora and fauna, birds, especially cranes -- which she is currently painting on silk scarves, banners and quilts for nationally juried shows.
